Jiangxi Yingjiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a technology-driven full-chain pharmaceutical supply chain service company, based on the main business of pharmaceutical circulation, logistics services, and medical health, including pharmaceutical R&D, distribution, pharmaceutical e-commerce, medical device production, Chinese herbal medicine cultivation, supply chain services, proprietary listed holding varieties, digital retail, digital logistics, supply chain solutions, medical health, and technology value-added services.
To meet the demands of modern logistics development and the future development of third-party pharmaceutical business, Yingjiang Pharmaceutical has decided to build a modern pharmaceutical third-party logistics center that complies with third-party logistics policy requirements and introduces modern logistics equipment to an industry demonstration effect.
Project Overview
The logistics center is a 4-story warehouse building with a construction area of over 20,000 square meters, including main operation areas such as equipment cold storage, pharmaceutical cold storage, four-way garage, AGV piece picking area, and high-bay racking area. It meets the current e-commerce and business needs of Yingjiang Pharmaceutical and supports the development needs of pharmaceutical third-party logistics.

Under the digital economy environment, to enhance the core competitiveness of the supply chain, Yingjiang Pharmaceutical has also launched Prolog Order Management System (OMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), and Equipment Scheduling System (EIS), which help Yingjiang Pharmaceutical to obtain more order traffic and better fulfill orders.
High informatization promotes steady business development
Third-party logistics, as a very important business for Yingjiang Pharmaceutical, has very high requirements for the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Prolog TMS system, connected with GPS, allows unified management of its own fleet and external third-party carriers through the TMS platform. It accurately locates vehicle position information, precisely views vehicle driving routes, records vehicle violations, fuel consumption, and other situations. It also performs big data analysis and optimization through vehicle driving data, driver driving data, fuel consumption data, violation accident data, and maintenance data, making vehicle and personnel management simpler, more transparent, and reliable. This improves the utilization of personnel and assets and reduces transportation costs.

The TMS order management function can be integrated with external procurement orders, sales orders, after-sales orders, transfer orders, and other systems used to manage transportation demands. It connects external parties such as suppliers, carriers, express delivery, and express delivery in the upstream and downstream of the supply chain, shortening the cycle from order acquisition to order production and goods delivery to the maximum extent, and improving the operational efficiency of the enterprise's supply chain.
After the Prolog OMS and WMS systems were launched in Yingjiang Pharmaceutical, they were fully connected with the existing ERP system. The reaction speed of the logistics center, the efficiency of execution feedback, and the ability to plan goods reserves have been significantly improved, achieving efficient collaboration of warehouse distribution integration.
Based on the self-developed technology platform of Prolog, WMS, OMS, and TMS systems are integrated into the UPCloud Solution platform. A cloud platform meets the various warehousing software needs of the enterprise, switching seamlessly. It can also authorize third-party systems, integrate operation and maintenance management platforms, and service monitoring platforms to achieve full-process visual control. The platform can also be connected with various intelligent devices, combining rich industry application scenarios to provide better decision support for algorithms.

Moderate automation improves personnel operation efficiency
Prolog integrates various automated logistics equipment for Yingjiang Pharmaceutical logistics center, such as pallet four-way shuttle cars, AGVs, and pallet elevators. After the project is operational, the application of four-way shuttle cars can achieve automatic zoned storage and automated storage, helping enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency. AGVs are used to achieve goods-to-person piece picking, and the efficiency of piece picking and whole piece outbound can reach 15 times/hour, greatly reducing the intensity of personnel operations.

This project is an intelligent logistics integration project that integrates logistics equipment and information systems. Through high informatization and moderate automation, the performance of limited automated logistics equipment is maximized. The flexible design also supports future business development needs. Since the project has been operational, the flexible and efficient warehousing operation mode is comprehensively upgrading the modernization level of logistics for the applied units.
